Built around components you can name, service, and trust.
The chiller market is dominated by imported, commodity-grade units engineered to a price point. AquaForge is built for the operator who has already replaced one of those — and doesn't want to do it again.
Industrial-grade vs. Commodity-grade chillers
Without naming names — the difference between a system that runs for a decade and one that gets warranty-swapped twice.
| Specification | AquaForge | Commodity Imports |
|---|---|---|
| Compressor | Panasonic commercial scroll | Reciprocating, generic |
| Heat exchanger | Titanium (saltwater rated) | Stainless or coated copper |
| Cabinet | Powder-coated steel / SS | Painted sheet, prone to corrosion |
| Controller | PLC with diagnostics | Basic thermostat board |
| Refrigerant | Standard, serviceable | Often proprietary or non-standard |
| Service access | Documented & accessible | Sealed, replace-only |
| Designed service life | 10+ years, continuous duty | 2–3 years, residential duty |
| Documentation | Schematics & service manuals | Marketing sheet only |
Build Quality
Heavier gauge cabinets, isolation-mounted Panasonic compressors, properly sized condensers. We over-spec because under-spec is what fails.
Component Selection
Every unit ships with a Panasonic scroll compressor — backed by a global service network and decades of refrigeration engineering. If we wouldn't service it ourselves, we don't ship it.
Engineering Philosophy
Every design decision is weighed against continuous-duty reliability — not BOM cost, not weight, not size.
Serviceability
Standard refrigerants, accessible service ports, labeled wiring, documented schematics. Any qualified refrigeration tech can service an AquaForge.
Reliability
Redundant temperature sensors, soft-start protection, low-flow and high-pressure cutouts. The chiller protects itself so your application stays online.
Long-Term Ownership Cost
Higher upfront. Lower 10-year cost. A system that runs for a decade beats three systems that ran for three years.
